1.0 Pre-Purchase Survey - (Condition and Value)
A Pre-Purchase survey is a thorough, non-destructive inspection of the vessel's structural and cosmetic condition, as well as all systems. It should include an out-of-water inspection of the hull's wetted surfaces and running gear, followed by a trial run to assess the engine and transmission performance. This survey results in a comprehensive report on the vessel's condition and provides a fair market value, which can also be utilized for obtaining insurance or financing.

2.0 Insurance Survey - (Condition and Value)

An insurance survey provides an inspection and report to satisfy an insurance company's requirements in order to obtain, renew, or switch providers.

3.0 Pre-Sale (Punchlist) Survey - (Condition and Value)
Also known as a Seller's Survey, this is a thorough, non-destructive inspection of the vessel's structural and cosmetic condition, as well as all systems, along with a trial run to evaluate engine and transmission performance. It may also include an out-of-water inspection of the hull's wetted surfaces and running gear if needed. This survey results in a comprehensive report on the vessel's condition and provides a fair market value, which can serve as a punch list to prepare the vessel for sale and assist in the sales process.

4.0 Appraisal Inspection - (Condition and Value)
This inspection is conducted to gather enough information to justify or determine the fair market value of the vessel. This is typically required for financing, estate settlements, donations, and legal cases.

5.0 Preliminary Sale Inspection (Pre-Check)
This is a service for a client who wishes to have a vessel verified to see if it appears to be as advertised and further inspected. This inspection will only have pictures and a summary of findings provided for verification.
$400 up to 26' Ft • $600 up to 44' Ft • $800 up to 72' Ft
6.0 Outboard Engine Compression Test
$125 per engine
7.0 Oil Analysis
An oil analysis is typically performed as part of a Pre-Purchase Survey and is recommended to supplement the trial run. Usually conducted after a trial run, these analyses should be performed on engines, transmissions, and generators.
Also Consider a Pre-Sale oil analysis for a potentially smoother sales process and to demonstrate your vessel's excellent maintenance.

8.0 Trial Run
This is a service that provides the surveyor and prospective buyer with real-world data on how the vessel performs, allowing for the detection of operational deficiencies, mechanical problems, or any other issues that only become apparent when the boat is in motion and its systems are working under load. This is not a full sea trial of the vessel.
